One piece of advice for Glenn and Angela: Don’t change a thing! We so enjoyed watching Angela create delicious meals from fresh fruits purchased from the island locals – and we enjoyed eating those meals even more! Glenn was endlessly entertaining and made us feel so comfortable with his years of experience at the helm. The sailing was fantastic, the scenery was unbelievable, and the experience was unique in every way. Thank you both so much. We enjoyed every meal and every stop we made. What a vacation!
Dear Angela and Glenn,
This week was a dream that came true in our lives. It surpassed our expectations in every way! We can never thank you enough for the special moments we’ve had on board. God bless you both!
Our comments:
1) The couple: Very kind, pleasant, discreet, professional and skilled. The crew was always willing to help to make our trip the most pleasant as possible. They kept the boat clean all of the time, which made everything more enjoyable.
2) The Boat: Caribbean Dream is very comfortable and is so well taken care of that it looks brand new. Everything works well: air conditioning, hot water, ice maker and water maker, ice cream machine, the popcorn maker, etc.
3) The Itinerary: The places that we visited were suggested by the crew and were perfect for for our expectations. The crew has expertise on sailing and know a lot about the Caribbean.
4) The Food: Outstanding! This was a 5-Star restaurant everyday. Each day we had a different food for every meal and we tasted unique recipes created by the chef.
We definitely recommend this charter!

P.S.: Don’t miss Angela’s massage! AMAZING!
P.S.S.: All of the water toys made everything more fun!
This was our first boat charter experience and it exceeded our expectations in every way! This catamaran was a perfect fit for ourselves and another couple we spent our time with as far as room, stability, comfort & ammenities. Angela and Glenn had a keen understanding of our needs from their questionaire we filled out as all our requests were accomodated. Our stateroom was very comfortable and always clean. All the spots we sailed to were right up our alley; fun, sun and relaxation!! We were treated to great diving and snorkelling and also got an amazing dolphin show our first day! The food was so amazing words cannot explain! It was the favorite part of my day to experience the next perfect creation Angela pulled out of the galley. Every meal was like dining in a 5 star restaurant however you were surrounded by the sea, sun and islands. The food enjoyment was almost sensual; every bite was a little piece of heaven! Thank you so much Angela! And thanks to Glenn for seemingly effortlessly getting us to all our destinations, changing plans on the fly, and keeping us entertained with many stories about all your experiences. These 2 do an amazing job to make the trip seem effortless. They are a well oiled machine when it comes to the operation of the boat and great company when wanting to chat and have fun. This trip was amazing in every sense, we got lots of sun, had lots of fun with our friends and got time to ourselves whenever we needed. We would highly recommend this charter. You will be in great hands for your entire journey and will come away only wanting more! We can’t wait for our next trip aboard the Caribbean Dream! Thanks so much Angela and Glenn!

… I was happy to have Glen as our captain for the following reasons. We experienced the aftermath of the storm that closed the north eastern airports on Dec 26th and Dec 27th so the sail was quite rough at times. We all felt completely safe with Glen as our captain and appreciated the fact that he found us some gorgeous coves to overnight in. It’s exactly want we envisioned. Spending the afternoon and evening in a secluded cove where only a few other vessels kept us company.
Angela was also very involved in our sailing adventure both in terms of attending to the sails, anchors and even diving in while fully clothed to retrieve a towel that had blown into the water.
…Both Glen and Angela instructed us on how we could assist in keeping the vessel clean ie. getting rid of sand prior to reboarding. The cabins were spotlessly cleaned each day and the linens changed. The kitchen was spotless and the lounging areas were kept neat and tidy at all times.
… We couldn’t have asked for anything more. They were attentive to our specifications on the preference sheet as far as menu selection, beverage selection. Even though the weather didn’t always co-operate they re-arranged each day so that we would get the most out of each day. If the waters were too choppy to snorkel or swim then we changed the plans and went on shore for a few hours. They were always available to take us where ever our hearts desired. They were attentive and ensured we did not want for anything.
… Top Chef!!! The best preparation of duck and beef tenderloin we have experienced. Angela prepares her meals with an artful skill and much love. She has a smile in her eyes when she talks about food. Everything was so fresh and her meals were truly delicious. We thought we had died and gone to heaven. Her homemade breads and ice cream and her delicious baked desserts let us forget about the diets we normally adhere to for 51 weeks of the year. We simply indulged ourselves with deliciously prepared breakfasts, lunches, appetizers, dinners and desserts. Oh, we can’t forget about some of her special rum drinks she concocted for us. Yummy!!!!!!
… We had fine dining every evening. No matter what the meal, the table was set up for us and the food was presented in a very appetizing manner. Each day the place settings were changed. The wine pairings were spot on. There were always some left -overs offered to the group as well.
Chef Angela has inspired me to present my own meals in a better way.
Dear Angela and Glenn,
Our charter was something unforgettable. Beside the gentle crew, we had a trip fulfill of remarkable surprises: nurse shark, lion fish, eagle ray… and a very nice weather.
The boat is well kept and the captain offers a safe and well planned itinerary, always arriving in a calm bay for anchoring in the afternoon.
It was amazing to see Angela preparing a different fine meal every day, such as: ice creams, crème brulée, steaks topped with foie gras and sea food pasta.
We were glad to celebrate our 10 years of marriage doing a romantic and private trip. Ana Claudia e John (Zuca)
Dear Glenn & Angela,
Where do we even begin? From arriving to rum punches with freshly grated nutmeg, a beautiful floral arrangement, and an absolutely impeccable & luxurious catamaran to outstanding food, fantastic sailing, wonderful diving, and great conversation with a crew we now consider friends! You both made the trip unforgettable with your mouth watering cooking (that banana cake – I can still taste it!), flexibility with the itinerary, and insider tips of the BVIs. We will definitely be back (hopefully next winter!) as Caribbean Dream sets the bar much too high to ever choose any other charter! You are always welcome in Minnesota!
Thank you again for a truly one of a kind vacation!
All the best,

Thank you for an unforgettable trip! We loved every moment. From the snorkeling to the diving, kayaking to enjoying the breeze and the sun while sailing to Anegada, we enjoyed the wide variety of activities. We were amazed that each place we stopped had something different offer – new colors, new underwater life, even a goofy pirate entertainer. Your planning each day was terrific.
We could not agree more with the other comments that applaud Chef Angela’s fantastic cooking. We ate finer dining while aboard than we could in some of the best restaurants back home in New York.

Caribbean Dream Trip Comments
This was our first Caribbean sailing trip. Overall, it was a spectacular experience that we enjoyed even more than we had hoped for. Very relaxing. Great camaraderie with our fellow guests. We strongly recommend the Caribbean Dream to everyone.
In the interest of brevity we will limit our specific comments to four areas in no particular order. First, the boat itself was terrific, with spacious cabins and ample common areas. Moreover, Glenn’s and Angela’s ongoing focus on immaculate cleanliness was obvious—“ship shape” would be an understatement. Second, Glenn’s and Angela’s sailing expertise and local knowledge was most significant. For example, their selection of mooring/anchoring locations and snorkeling spots was excellent. They truly know the area and all of the best spots. Separate from the “smooth nights” that gently rocked us to sleep in our cabin, we saw lots of fish, reef life and underwater rock formations that we will never forget. Third, Angela’s gourmet meals were truly to die for—excellent choices, superb preparation and spectacular presentation every time. Fourth, the pick-up and drop-off, literally within walking distance of the Tortola airport (EIS), could not have been more convenient or more efficient.

Dear Angela and Glen,
Sorry to be so slow in writing but all has been hectic since getting back. Our whole family, three generations, had a truly wonderful vaction with you last month- one that will be remembered forever. You all did a great job with Bow and Annie, which every grandparent and parent always appreciates most. Also, thanks so much for the family picture- it will be distributed at Christmastime! And finally, the larger collection of photos are wonderful and will be the object of revisiting for years to come.
Coming from a business that is very much service-oriented, I appreciate that yours is a very challenging endeavor, as every customer is different and have their own weird likes and dislikes- whether it’s the strength of their coffee or the firmness of their pillow, so my only encouragement would be to always try to get them to open up (as you do with your questionaire beforehand) and then respond within the boundaries that have to be maintained. I am sure that some guests will always be very adamant in making their desires known, but the ones who are less inclined may respond to occasional probing or just checking (“How do you like…?)
One suggestion we have regarding activities relates to the snorkeling. For someone like Gene, who was very unceratin about her ability to snorkel, it might be good to start them in shallow water, where they may work into it more gardually and gain confidence. I was sorry she did not feel confident enough to do more of it.
Please do not take any of these comments as anything but mild constructive feedback, as this trip was beyond our wildest expectations, and I want to say again that the food was simply out of this world. I am also happy to report that it didn’t result in any extra pounds for me after I got back, so thank you! Activity solves lots of issues.
We will continue to be sales agents for you and wish you both the very best during the rest of 2011. Please let us know if you get to SC or MI. Our very best ergards,
Tommy
{Excerpt from VI Sailing Charter Review}…Glenn and Angela were absolutely delightful as they continually worked to make this a perfect sail. We were amazed as they anticipated our needs. Caribbean Dream is a first class vessel and Glenn and Angela keep it in A-1 shape. Clean and in excellent repair. Ventilation was more than adequate. If ocean breezes were not there, fans were readily available. No need for A/C. Angela’s food, preparation, and presentation were outstanding and even more impressive then the pictures and descriptions provided prior to the sail. The desserts are to die for. We sailed 110 KM in the 8 days and basically transversed the entire BVI’s. This was our desire. Glenn was ready to take us wherever we wanted. Glenn and Angela are extremely knowledgeable of the area and this is reassuring. We cannot adequately express our thorough enjoyment of this adventure. Thank you for the Champagne as we celebrated the 45th wedding anniversary of the Thomas’s and the 50th wedding anniversary of the Winton’s
Glenn and Angela
Thanks for a wonderful time and thanks for the great weather. The itinerary was perfect and Angela’s culinary skills are fantastic. You accommodated three generations with skill and care. Our two granddaughters, ages twelve and fourteen were immensely impressed. They were a little wary of the trip before it began but boy were they surprised, I know they will remember it for a lifetime. Brooke was especially happy to catch a shark on that private bone fishing charter with her Dad that you arranged for them while on Anegada.
Speaking of Anegada, your recommendation to rent a car was just right. We went to both Loblolly Beach and Cowwreck in the same day and we did it on our schedule. And thanks for the “porpoise show” just in front of and under the dingy on the way to a shore excursion. I know you had them queued up just for us!
I would recommend everyone fly into Beef Island, it was easy, convenient and very efficient and flying from San Juan on a nine passenger prop started our vacation off and ended it with a very special view of the BVI and allowed us to see much more than a larger plane would permit.
Lastly, we finally met Foxy. We have been to the BVI before but have never met him and this time was a real treat which we memorialized on film with the six of us.
Thanks, the Betsher and Moretz clan, Maryland.
Angela and Glenn,
Thanks for the wonderful vacation! It was an enjoyable relaxing time with some GREAT food! I travel the world extensively for business, and I must say Angela that the food you prepared rivaled some of the finest restaurants I have visited.
Our family had the best vacation we’ve had in many years. Visiting the many small islands in the BVI and enjoying the “local scene” was great. Glen was so flexible and accommodating in choosing what and where we could go. There was plenty of laughs and great memories made during our trip.
Glen and Angela are gracious hosts and I highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing week enjoying the Caribbean and all that it has to offer.
We look forward to joining you again in the Grenadines!
Thanks Again.

Angela and Glenn,
On behalf of the six of us (Winston, Tricia, Curtis, Allison, Kristyn and I), i wanted to sincerely thank you for making our first sailing charter (ex Curtis/captain Ahab) in the BVI absolutely outstanding. Highlights include and are not limited to:
1. Diving… Especially at the wreck of the Rhone. highly recommended for all divers novice/advance divers.. Indians dive was our #2 favorite.
2. Every meal breakfast/lunch/dinner. Although my waistline / manzier(sp) size would differ.
3. Hospitality – Angela and Glenn made every stop unique, the boat was always clean, the water toys accessible, there was plenty of ice cold beverages, etc. and they didn’t miss one detail.
4. Trellis bay nightlife…. Listening to Moby/Michael Stipe guy entertain us on stage…. He was extremely talented and Angela had every right to have a crush on him.. sorry Glenn, that guy had serious skills!
For those reading this email, if you want outstanding food, great diving/snorkelling, clean reliable boat I would highly recommend this trip (3 days was not enough). If you would chose to hang on a beach/pool probably want to head to Florida or call Carnival/Royal Carribbean….
Thanks Glenn and Angela,

Glenn and Angela,
Thanks again for the wonderful time! That was a vacation we’ll remember forever and will dial it up again for sure.
My experience on the Caribbean Dream
Last week we fly down to the BVIs to charter a 47′ sailing catamaran. My wife and I had never vacationed like this and we both had one of the best vacations we can remember. Glenn and Angela were wonderful people to spend our vacation with and they are true professionals. Glenn is a heck of a captain and dive master and Angela made some of the best food I’ve had all year. NO NEED TO PACK ANY “SAFETY” FOOD RATIONS! Angela will keep you well fed and the preparation and taste of her dishes are wonderful. We went on several dives and now have some of the best vacation photos ever!!
If you like to party, make sure you have them moor up at the Last Resort. I can’t remember the entertainer, but he rocks and it is a must do in our opinion.
Thanks Glenn and Angela!
Warmest regards,
Winston and Tricia Breeden
What a week! Our trip aboard Caribbean Dream was all that we wanted and so much more thanks to Angela and Glenn!
The boat was beautiful and expertly maintained and operated.
The places where we sailed, snorkeled, and anchored were perfect. The kids enjoyed helping out with the sailing and they loved the kayaks, wake boards, and other toys and games on the boat.
The food – words can’t describe how much we enjoyed the food. Three scrumptious meals a day were served to us on the deck and each one was even better than the one before. It was a treat for all of the senses!
Our family time – this was the greatest gift of all for our over scheduled and exhausted family of four. We relaxed, read books, played games, and most importantly got to do everything together while we were in the expert care of Angela and Glenn.
We would take this trip again and we would recommend it to everyone!
What a spectacular way to spend a week!! We were a group of three couples made up of two scuba divers, two snorkelers and two soon to be snorkelers. Two of the couples own sailboats the third does not. (Andy and Cathy, James and Vicki, Scott and Jen.)
The trip began with Glenn and Angela asking us what we wanted out of the week. We only had a few requests. We wanted to go to Anegada so Andy and I could do some bonefishing. Glenn and Angela called ahead and hooked us up with a guide a couple of days in advance and we had a great day. Despite the weather being a little uncooperative with stiff winds and overcast skies, Andy managed to land his largest bonefish to date at 5lb plus. The rest of the group rented a car and had a grand time exploring the island. We left the rest of the week up to Glenn and Angela. This was a great decision. Their knowledge of the area was a great asset. They not only knew where to go but more importantly WHEN to go. On some mornings we left a little early to get to a location before other boats and on other days they suggested we hang back a little to allow the day traffic from Tortola and St Thomas to clear out. This gave our group a chance to really enjoy the places we visited. Since we were a mix of divers and snorkelers, Glenn and Angela chose our dive sites based on good snorkeling and quiet anchorages. The diving is pleasant, nothing too deep so we had lots of bottom time to take it all in. This is a great place for a new diver. The snorkelers had a great time. The two newbies had it figured out on the first reef. Over the course of the week they saw eagle rays, turtles, a spotted moray eel and cuttlefish along with a wide assortment of other reef fish.
Enough of this, let’s get down to what is really important and where the Caribbean Dream really sets herself apart, the food, the glorious food. Angela really outperforms as chef, and I do mean chef, and Glenn makes a pretty decent steward. We only had one meal off the boat. When we were moored at Anegada we felt we had to go ashore for the local lobster. It’s caught daily, grilled over wood fires and served on the beach. We did return to the boat for dessert where Angela had made lavender infused ice cream for us. Some other examples of her desserts you ask? How about banana upside down cake with walnut caramel, baked hot chocolate with Bailey’s whipped cream and crème brulee to name a few. Well the crème brulee was actually served at breakfast as a special treat for me. Hey I was on vacation. Speaking of breakfast, there was French toast with coconut caramel syrup, croissant sandwiches, fruit and yogurt with fresh baked crumb cake and fried egg sandwiches with provolone. What’s for lunch you say? Chicken ciabatta sandwiches with avocado served with pineapple coleslaw or seared ahi tuna on a bed of Caesar salad and Asian ribeye steak salad are a few examples. Hors d’oeuvres were served daily at 5:00pm along with the daily cocktail. Make sure you stick close by. There was little honor among travelers when 5:00pm rolled around. A word of warning, watch out for the Bushwhackers! And now, at last we come to the dinners. How do you feel about such offerings as rack of lamb on truffle mash or chipotle duck breast with sweet potato and plantain mash or steamed mahi mahi with green rice or New York strip served with a pepper stir fry?
I can honestly say that each of the three couples felt this was one of their best vacations to date. The location is beautiful, the sailing is relaxing, the snorkeling and diving were wonderful and the food far exceeded all expectations, but most of all Glenn and Angela worked hard to ensure we all had the vacation we wanted.
If you have ever considered a vacation in the BVI ‘s or wanted to try a liveaboard I have one piece of advise for you. DO IT!!! One more piece of advice. Contact Glenn and Angela aboard the Caribbean Dream. You will have a fantastic time.
Thanks again to Glenn and Angela for a fabulous experience. We left enough things “left to do” so we will have to come back.
Scott H
We truly had the trip of a lifetime on Caribbean Dream! We were a family group of 3 sisters and husbands and the trip was somewhat of a reunion for us. By the end of the trip we were ready to adopt Glenn and Angela into the family!
I am a bit of the type A persuasion and sent in advance a very detailed itinerary for where we wanted to visit for the week. When we arrived, both Glen and Angela politely suggested we may want to try some variations to that itinerary.
Once you experience your first sunset on the boat in the beautiful Caribbean waters any thought of an itinerary is lost. Glenn and Angela took over from there and we explored some amazing places including some new spots that we had never visited. We started our trip with the 8 Tuff Miles run on St. John. Angela prepared an early runners breakfast and we dingy’d to shore and the starting line. We ended at Skinny Legs for painkillers (needed) and burgers. Then back to the boat to start our amazing journey. We hit Caneel Bay, Norman Island, The Caves, Willie T’s, Monkey Point, Peter Island, Spanish Town Virgin Gorda, The Baths VG, Bitter End VG, Anegada, Mountain Point, Trellis Bay Tortola, Jost Van Dyke (White Bay then Great Harbor – Foxy’s), Brewers Bay, and Cane Garden Bay. Spanish Town was not my favorite. Brewers Bay was a nice surprise. Very quiet, great little beach bar, recommended by Glenn. White Bay has been discovered and was so crowded.
The food: not only are you in one of the most beautiful places in the world, you are dining 5 star. We chose a “half board” option, which means that we eat about half of our meals off the boat on the islands. BAD IDEA. Had we known we had Chef Angela, we would have taken every opportunity to indulge in her amazing creations. We looked forward to breakfast every morning as that was guaranteed! (even Glenn’s scrambled eggs ☺) . I had the best fish dish I have honestly ever had on Caribbean Dream, “Asian Chilean Seabass”. Angela was kind enough to share the recipe and I made it for my kids. Not quite Angela, but I definitely scored some points that night. We also had shrimp and scallops with grits one evening. Angela gave us a cooking lesson the last night and we made a rosemary lemon swordfish (I am sure there is a fancy name for it). Her desserts were phenomenal: key lime pie, creme brulee medley, baked hot chocolate. Breakfasts included blueberry crepes, pina colada French toast, amazing omelet, other beautiful egg dishes, fresh baked crumb cake, and amazing fruit displays every morning.
What I liked most about Glenn and Angela is that they were very professional, kept a very clean ship, but we were so comfortable around them. They really felt like a part of the family (with a few extraordinary qualities – amazing captain and chef). Oh, and I can’t forget the massages! Just an added bonus, Angela does amazing massages.
We highly recommend this adventure and I can’t imagine exploring the islands with a better crew than Glenn and Angela.
We will be back!
Blacks, Daniels, and Evans
Best vacation ever. Glenn and Angela not only welcome you aboard their home, but they welcome you into their world. We enjoyed fantastic snorkeling, unparalleled scenery, and truly world-class cuisine. You can find plenty of boats with good dive guides… you can find boats with good sailors… you can find boats with good chefs. As far as I know, only on the Caribbean Dream can you find it all. I still find myself daydreaming about the lobster and crab ravioli, the salmon in an orange/balsamic reduction, the tenderloin with risotto, and all of the other fabulous food, wine and “boat drinks” we enjoyed. Not only were Angela and Glenn skilled and fun to be around, the boat was utterly spotless and extremely well maintained. My family had never taken such a vacation before, and despite some early apprehension (my wife and kids had no significant boating or snorkeling experience), we didn’t want the vacation to end. We look back on our memories and photographs fondly, and harbor the hope of doing it again someday soon.
